"To me, an idea is more than just something dreamed up in a brainstorm. An idea can be a decision, recommendation, hypothesis, notion, alternative, or an option. It's simply one way to solve a problem.

I don't think you can talk about ideas without talking about communications. An idea must be expressed for it to begin to have value. Ideas don't speak for themselves, not matter how good they are. Ideas need a person to articulate, discuss, debate, argue, cajole, defend, persuade, negotiate, motivate, inspire, sell, guide and teach.

To me, the most effective leaders are those who know how to create as well as communicate."
